Access WSSDA’s Model Policy Manual online 24/7. Each policy contains hyperlinks to cross-referenced policies, legal references and management resources. The system features rapid-fire search by keyword, title, and policy category (Essential, Priority, Discretionary), as well as a download function for ease of district distribution, review and customization.

Policy & Legal News
Stay current with emerging policy issues through WSSDA’s flagship policy publication. Policy & Legal News is the vehicle through which WSSDA updates its Model Policy Manual on a quarterly or as needed basis. Each issue features articles explaining the origin and context of the updates as well as attached policy and procedure markups. All markups utilize Track Changes to clearly indicate added and deleted language, as well as the comments feature to further elaborate on the justifications for changes. Additional articles cover recent school case law, an annual summary of SAO audit findings in school districts and a “back to school” checklist of policy updates.
Annual subscription fee: $815 (plus applicable sales tax)
Each subscription includes five (non-transferrable) user passwords and customer support. Please be advised that the system was designed to work with the Chrome internet browser and that you may need to ask your IT staff to enable this function.
